i watched the heat seekers show last night ( March 16, not sure if repeat). i just wanted to comment about the ceviche. i was a microbiology and chemistry major, and the acid from lime or lemon juice does not make raw fish “safe” to eat. i love sushi and raw fish, so i am not biased. the fruit acid could maybe kill some bacteria, but if the fish being served has a parasite, it can not be killed by lime juice, and could possible give someone a parasite. i wanted to make that correction in order to inform the audience.
