My Fit Foods 21 Day Challenge

UPDATE – 22lbs in 21 days! That was my total. This program rocks! Everyone should give it a try if you want to lose weight quickly and safely.

Original Post – It’s not much of a secret that I’m carrying around a few extra pounds. Ok, let’s be honest, I’m getting pretty fat, and it didn’t really dawn on me until the Spicy RV road trip. They say the camera adds 10 lbs, and I definitely looked like it.

This whole eating for a living thing is still relatively new to me, and I figured I could just eat whatever and be fine. Nope. I’m finding out the hard way that if I want to be able to go to food shows, road trips, etc. and eat what I want, then I need to watch what I eat when I’m not working. However it’s not easy to watch what I eat (or eat at all) when it’s just me, and I’m busy with work. I would normally just reach for or buy whatever was quickest and easiest. That usually meant fast food or snacks. You never realize how much things like that can effect your health until the damage is done.

I decided that after I got back and life was back to normal I would do something about it. That something is My Fit Foods 21 Day Challenge, and I start today. It’s a great program because all the meals are prepared, and all I have to do is throw one into the microwave. I get three meals a day plus two snacks, and the only other thing I have to do is drag my lazy butt to the gym. They say you can lose 8-15 lbs on this plan in 21 days, but you know me. I have to be extreme so my goal is 20 lbs.

Can I do it? We shall see, and the graph below will be tracking my progress. You can check back every couple of days if you want to see how it’s going. I don’t think it makes sense to record my weight daily since there can be fluctuations, but every 2 to 3 days should be fine. If this goes well I might even be able to get the fine folks at My Fit Foods to run a special for you guys.

Speaking of specials I think I will do something as well. Guess how many pounds I will lose in the comments section after 21 days (just a number), and the person that gets closest will get a prize pack of hot sauces from me. Make sure I have a way to find you if you win. Wish me luck!

    Color me jealous. I’ve been on my own challenge for weeks … ok, a year. I lost 30 lbs but haven’t budged since that. CONGRATS!
